Dashboard Modes

tunlx ships two dashboard modes so you can match the operator's scope. Toggle between them with the Simple / Advanced switch in the top navigation.

Simple mode Day-to-day operations. Standard proxies, core playback and status actions, essential WireGuard controls, and proxy search.

Advanced mode Architecture-level control. All proxy types, full diagnostics, import/export, JSON / OpenAPI / log inspection, and composite + Xtream service blueprints.

The same instance, seen both ways — note the extra actions, the MediaFlow filter tab, and the composite and Xtream service cards that only Advanced mode surfaces:

Hidden is not disabled

Simple mode only hides controls. A composite proxy or Xtream service you created in Advanced mode keeps running and keeps serving clients while Simple mode is active.

What each mode shows

Capability Simple Advanced
Create / edit Standard proxies
Regional IPTV Wizard (Add Proxy chooser)
View wizard-created Xtream services
Built-in player, category manager, EPG view
Basic WireGuard / VPN status
Proxy search and status / route filters

Process restart, JSON / OpenAPI inspection
  • Operators / day-shift: Simple. The surface area is small enough to reduce mistakes.
  • Admins / on-call: Advanced. They need composite, Xtream services, and diagnostics.

The mode is per-session (not per-user), so on a shared admin login any operator can flip into Advanced if they need to.

Switching modes

The Simple / Advanced toggle lives in the top navigation bar. The selected mode is remembered locally for the session.
